Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am pregnant and in my second month. I was prescribed an Orofer iron supplement, which is making me nauseous and sick. Will switching to other brands of iron supplements help, or can I take it in a syrup form? Kindly suggest.

Answered by Dr. Rajesh Jain

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Do not worry. I suggest you regularly take dates, beetroot, jaggery, and green leafy vegetables. Also, I suggest you take one tablet of Fersoft-Z (multivitamin supplement) once daily.

I hope this has helped you.

Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
