How to treat heart attack?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 78 years old and I have been bedridden for eight years. I had a heart attack and my ECG shows LBBB (left bundle branch block) non-progression R V1 V2. I am taking Clopitab A 150 once daily, Caat 20 at night, and Angizem CD 90 in the morning. Kindly suggest treatment.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

LBBB, if new can be a sign of myocardial infarction (heart attack), if old it might not be. You are already on Clopitab A and CATT 20. I would like to know if you diagnosed with LBBB for the first time now. It is advisable to treat you in a hospital, but since you are saying that you cannot, I need to know the complete details. I would like to see the ECG and Investigations before I can advise you on any medicine.

I hope you get well soon.

Thank you.
