Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

There are several possible reasons why you may have missed your period while taking the birth control pill which are as follows:

  1. Hormonal changes: The birth control pill works by regulating hormones in your body, and sometimes hormonal fluctuations can lead to changes in your menstrual cycle. This could be due to various reasons such as a missed pill, taking a pill at a different time than usual, or even stress.
  2. Pregnancy: While birth control pills are highly effective at preventing pregnancy when taken correctly, there is still a small chance of becoming pregnant. If you miss a period while taking the pill, it is a good idea to take a pregnancy test to rule out the possibility.
  3. Medication interactions: Some medications, such as antibiotics or anti-seizure medications, can interact with birth control pills and reduce their effectiveness. However, the tablet Blisovi Fe 1/20 (Norethindrone, Estradiol) is not known to have significant interactions with other medications.
  4. Medical conditions: Certain medical conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or thyroid disorders can also affect your menstrual cycle.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
