Do Ovabless-Myo and Meprate tablets help to get pregnant?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 27 years old and trying to conceive. However, I constantly have pain in my lower back and lower abdomen. I also have excessive hair growth and thyroid issues, so my gynecologist has recommended the tablet Ovabless-Myo and Meprate 10 mg. In addition, I got an ultrasound and TAG blood test done. What are my chances of getting pregnant?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I could not see your laboratory results. It would be better to guide you based on laboratory results and scan. Thyroid abnormalities themselves can be a cause of infertility, congenital abnormalities, and even miscarriages. It would be best if you had a strict check-up and control over thyroid hormone levels and should have treatment accordingly.

1. Try to have a normal weight and BMI (basal metabolic index) by exercising, yoga, and walking.

2. Have a healthy, nutritious diet with less salt, sugar, oil, and spice.

3. Use different hair removals methods such as threading, waxing, or laser to eliminate unwanted hair.

4. Try to have recreational activities to take care of your emotional health.

5. Take folic acid tablets daily.

6. Try to have normal regular cycles and sex in the fertile cycle period.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them and take medications with their consent.

I cannot predict the chances of getting pregnant as I do not have your reports and complete history, but I hope you will have healthy babies with a healthy lifestyle, regular check-ups, and complete treatment.

Hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.
