Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
The 1st day of my last period was 26 th day of the month. I did sex on the 15th day of the next month with a condom and contraceptive pill. Than expected date of the period was 26 of the next month (I got a fever on the 25th day, vomited, and bp low), then the fever got settled I got a cold. My period did not occur. I started home remedies of ginger for three to four days (during the period days I had breast and nipple pain). After that period, I had cramps on the 24th, but no period. Then, 3rd day of the next month, I started progesterone 5 mg for 3 days, and after a 1-day break, I took Deviry 10 mg for 5 days. In between, I felt a light spot. I did a pregnancy test in the morning, and the result was negative on the 16th th day. 25th day, I got a bleed in the morning. It was more than regular. I am worried about why was this so long wait? Pregnancy? Regularly I get a period for four to five days. I m getting sleep issues and headaches. This month I got a fever for a day, but it is the 27th day I did not get a period.
Guide me with all this.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Do not worry, as intercourse was during safe days. Intercourse was with protection, and emergency pills were already taken. No chance of getting pregnant at all. Be relaxed. You have taken progesterone twice. Delay in periods and low flow is due to some hormone disturbance due to stress, emergency pills, and progesterone.
As periods already occurred on the 25th day after intercourse. No chance of getting pregnant at all.
Thank you.
