How do memory loss and poor concentration cause social anxiety?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 29-year-old male, I am suffering with poor memory and concentration problem. Because of that I remain less confident all the time. I try to avoid talking to people because of poor presence of mind. While talking sometimes I say something stupid and foolish without even realizing which I realize later. Once I was studying in library and found a wallet then asked a girl is that belongs to her, it was clearly looking as a male purse so after saying no she gave a smile, then I started thinking why she was smiling and after some time I realized I was saying something stupid? I forget things very easily. It appears that my mind is not trained to pay attention. There are many examples of my absent mindedness. Kindly help.

Hello

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It does not matter what others think about you. Do not pay attention to what others are thinking and be assertive and confident. Doing Bhramari yoga daily shall help you to relax and focus. Also study in small shifts of half an hour followed by a rest of five minutes. Remember every problem has a solution you just need to try solving it and help is just a step away. Feel free to ask if you have any further queries. I hope I have cleared all your doubts.

Thank you.
