Will a patient have any problems in his married life if he has had a habit of masturbation for the past six to seven years?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had a habit of masturbation for the past six to seven years, but I find it difficult to get rid of it. I have headaches and pain in my muscles and legs. I cannot concentrate on my studies. My penis has become small, and the semen flows like water. I do not take any medicines. Will I have any problems after marriage? If so, what should I do to avoid masturbation and increase my sperm count?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. Masturbation is normal, and 95 % of males love to masturbate. It is just another way of having sex without a partner. Masturbation will not harm your penis. However, if you masturbate more than two to three times a week, you might have tiredness, concentration problems, and infertility. The benefits of masturbation are listed below:

  1. It helps relieve stress and boosts mood.
  2. It Improves sleep.
  3. It helps prevent depression and anxiety.
  4. It relaxes a person's mind.
  5. It relieves pain, muscle cramps, and sexual tension.
  6. It improves the confidence of a person.
  7. It allows one to have a better sexual experience.
  8. It helps the person understand his needs and desires.
  9. Masturbation increases vaginal blood flow in females.

I suggest you take the capsule Astymin Forte (multivitamins) once in the morning and the tablet Shelcal (calcium and vitamin D3) once at night after food for thirty days if you feel tired. The other ways that help reduce masturbation are listed below:

  1. Sex education.
  2. Physical exercises.
  3. Sleep adjustment.
  4. Healthy and balanced diet.
  5. Getting engaged in spirituality.
  6. Taking a cold bath.
