Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have bald patches on my head. About one month ago so I consulted a doctor and was advised to apply Clobetasol propionate cream at night and 5 % Minoxidil during the morning. It has been one month and ten days of using this medication and my bald patches have increased so what should I do?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
With passion, commitment, and experience, I hope I will be able to provide you with a top-class medical opinion.
If your bald patches have increased despite using the medication, it is possible that you may have an underlying medical condition that is causing your hair loss, such as an autoimmune disorder or a nutritional deficiency. In the meantime, you can continue to use the medication as prescribed by your doctor. It is important to follow the instructions carefully and use the medication consistently for at least 3 to 6 months to see if it is effective in promoting hair growth. It may also be helpful to make some lifestyle changes to promote healthy hair growth, such as eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, reducing stress, and avoiding harsh hair treatments or styles that can damage the hair. You can message me if you have any blood reports done. If not done I advise you to go for some basic blood reports.
I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
