Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My daughter is almost 9 months now. She is gaining good weight and height. What should I include in her diet chart to boost immunity, height and make her complexion bright? Please provide a good dietary solution.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com. Congratulations on the arrival of your little miracle. I assume that she is breastfed, which means she is already receiving plenty of nutrients from her mother. When it comes to her diet, the key is to ensure she gets all the essential nutrients. Introduce foods rich in vitamin C, E, and A, such as strawberries, blueberries, bananas, dates, peaches, and mangoes.
Introduce one food at a time and make sure to crush it well to aid digestion and promote good immunity and complexion. For promoting her height, incorporate calcium-fortified foods and ensure she receives an adequate amount of vitamin D if she is bottle-fed. This will help in developing strong bones. You can also consider using half a bottle of energy health drinks daily or multivitamin drops. However, I would recommend prioritizing fresh fruits and vegetables for their nutritional benefits. Remember, it is always best to consult with a pediatrician or a nutritionist for personalized dietary recommendations for your child's specific needs.
