Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 32-year-old unmarried male suffering from hypothyroidism. I have been on tablet Thyronorm 50 mcg. A few days ago, I checked my TSH level, which was 8.57 mIU/mL. I have had a low sex drive and a weak erection for the past six months. Is this associated with my hypothyroidism?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern. Your dose of tablet Thyronorm is insufficient, so your sex drive is low. However, thyroid hormones are essential in sexual desire and erection. I suggest you follow a few instructions mentioned below.
Also, do you have normal morning erections?
Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them and take medications with their consent.
I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
