Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I had an event where my boyfriend pulled my pants from the back and tried to have sex with me. I felt his penis, and I panicked and jumped, then I saw blood. I went to the doctor to check if I was still a virgin. He said, this bleeding is from part of my vagina, but my hymen is intact, and I am a virgin. I was not sure if he had sex with me because I did not feel him inside me, but I felt him pushing his penis into me, and it caused me to bleed.
What could be the other part of my vagina that can bleed if it was not the hymen?
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Regarding your symptoms of bleeding, I propose that you have developed a vagina tear following an attempt by your spouse to insert his penis despite your hymen being intact. The incision, I presume, may be due to your spouse having a large penis, which has resulted in a cut at the vagina tissue. However, the hymen will not be broken because it is deep inside, covering your cervical entrance. I hope that helps.
Thank you.
