Hi doctor,
I went for a massage, and both of us were naked. She climbed on top of me. My penis felt her pubic hair and labia, but there was no penetration. The girl saw I got nervous and said that I was clean. No risky behavior happened at the massage parlor. I felt my penis, and it was wet. I assume it was precum. But if it was vaginal fluid. I do not think so because vaginal fluid comes from inside of the vagina, and if any virus had been present, it would have died since the fluid was exposed to air. Is there anything to worry about?

I read your query and understand your concern. As there was no direct sexual penetration, the risk of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection transmission is negligible. However, as the contact was with a commercial sex worker and there was no condom, it is advisable to get an HIV 4th generation test done after four weeks to clear any air of doubt.

Thank you for the response. But why would I need an HIV test since there was no penetration? If the fluid was vaginal fluid, would the virus have been killed with air contact? Vaginal fluid comes from inside the vagina, correct?

Yes, the fluid comes from the vagina itself. The test is to clear any little doubt that could remain in your mind regarding the chance of any infection.
