Patient's Query

Hello,

I had unprotected sex 26 days ago with a spa girl and it lasted for 10 seconds because I pulled out and I noticed that I did not cum. For the past two days I am having a sore throat with extreme tiredness which made me scared about HIV then after I got tested for it after 16 days of unprotected exposure and it tested negative. I was advised to get tested for it after one month and right now, I am having a mouth ulcer. I am concerned that it is HIV.

Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Unprotected sex can have a high risk of exposure to other sexually transmitted diseases. Sore tongue and throat may be due to climate change rather than sex. Internet generally leaves you with tension rather than a solution. I suggest you kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take five days of medications with their consent. It would not be HIV (human immunodeficiency virus).

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello,

Thank you for the reply.

Should I get tested for HIV for having unprotected sex though it was for less time like 10 seconds, I am very much concerned.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Time is not at all a matter of unprotected sex. Get the following test done. Fourth generation CMIA kit test for HIV one and two on the 28th day. This test has multiple window periods like 38, 42, 54 days, etc. Get the test done on either day, and if the result is nonreactive, It means no infection of HIV. But in your case, it is documentary evidence that can help to rule out HIV easily.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I have tried dot card testing for HIV after 2 weeks, and still I am scared because of the online content.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Glad to have you back on iclinq.com.

I suggest you stop searching the internet. Unprotected sex cannot be the reason for just two days. It can be because of the climate, cold water, freeze, air conditioner, etc. They could have been the most important cause. Pleasure is important but life is most important. Do not panic, as you can become a psychiatric patient.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

When should I get tested for HIV as I did it recently I wanted to know.

Please suggest.

Hello,

As there are multiple window periods, previously as advised accordingly go for test either days.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I just want to know, should I worry about HIV even if I had unprotected sex for like 10 seconds because it scares me a lot.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If the penis is in vagina unprotected for10 seconds or one min, it is called unprotected sex which is high risk exposure. but as your test is negative you are definitely safe.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Can I test negative after undergoing the test as you predicted?

Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

As all the reports have come negative, there is nothing to worry.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am getting swollen lymph nodes on the back of my ear, and back of my neck. Is there anything to worry about HIV? It has been a month now after unprotected sex.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Ear problems, dandruff, folliculitis, and HIV. Consult personally with a dermatologist or an ENT as he can examine and find out any lymph node that can be appropriate for FNAC (fine needle aspiration biopsy). So after biopsy and histopathological examination diagnosis is correct.

I hope this helps. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Can you tell me the date on which I can test for my HIV?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You can test on days 28, 38, 42, 54 or 63, any day.

I hope this helps.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I just consulted a dermatologist doctor for a swollen lymph node he told me it was because of the pimples on my hair and that it would recover within a month but I have had a sore throat for a month so should I worry or not?

Hello,

For betadine, gargle add 5 ml solution in hot to warm water and gargle it before meal two times for seven to ten days. Augmentin duo 625 three times a day after food for three to five days. Take Zerodol sp three times a day after food for three to five days. Montek lc one at night till for seven to ten days. Avoid cold things, and eat a light diet home made food.

Hello doctor,

What about the swollen lymph node the doctor said it was due to pimples on my head but I had dandruff a year ago.

Through this treatment, they also reduce or go. In my previous answer, I mentioned all head and ear conditions as causes. Use shampoo two times a week.
