Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am an 18-year-old male. I had done CBC. My Hb is 17.5, RBC count is 5.9 million cells/cum, WBC is 11.9 thou/cumm, hematocrit is 50.8, TC is 11.9 thou/cumm, neutrophilic leucocytosis, serum erythropoietin is 10.5 mU/mL, JAK2 exon 12 and V617F negative, and no splenomegaly.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for your query.
I have gone through your concern. But I want to know your total WBC (white blood cells) count and platelet count value as well to give exact comments for your case. Your RBC (red blood cells) count and Hb (hemoglobin) value are slightly high but not suggestive of any leukemia-like condition so do not worry about that. If you have any smoking history, cardiac problems, liver disease problems, or kidney problems then let me know about that. Attach your full CBC (complete blood count) report with the peripheral smear examination report to carry out any further discussion.
I hope this has helped you.
Thank you.
