I am 16 years old, and I will turn 17 in four months. I am attaching a copy of my wrist x-rays below. Could you tell me if my growth plates are closed or open?

With the images of your growth plates sent, you are almost on the verge of growth completion. An approximate 3 to 5 cm of growth can be expected in about 2 to 3 months duration. However, these are just an estimate based on the radiographic findings. The genetic potential can take it beyond that, and there is no such technology to tell where the growth has ceased completely accurately.
