Hello doctor,
I have had a headache since last week . I feel pressure in the top and front of my head, sometimes piercing pain at the sides of my head. I went to the hospital, and they gave me Benadryl tablets and Reglan infusions, which helped, but the pain continued to exist. Then they gave me the tablet Excedrin for migraine but still I have a headache. I still have headache. I have tried tablet Excedrin Tension still no use. What could this be? Can a headache last this long? I am so anxious about this.

Headaches can be due to a lot of reasons. You need to have a systemic evaluation before narrowing down the diagnosis. Have you already done CT (computed tomography) scan? You need to undergo a fundoscopic (an examination of the retina with an ophthalmoscope to detect high blood pressure, diabetes, and endocarditis) examination, and an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) brain for further evaluation.
