Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
The drug Monit GTN 2.6 mg (Nitroglycerin and Glyceryl Trinitrate) which you are using for ischemic heart disease causes vasodilatation and gives a severe headache.
The starting of this may give rise to more problems as compared to after few months.
You may need simple painkiller like tablet Ultracet (Paracetamol and Tramadol) at the starting of your treatment. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her and with their consent take the medicine.
Sometimes it may cause hypotension which may cause giddiness. It is dangerous if you use drugs for erectile dysfunction along with this drug.
Around 60% to 80% of people who are using this medication may experience a headache.
