This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have had severe hair fall and some scalp problems, for which I am taking Folron and Meclobic capsules daily, with Ketoconazole shampoo and Candid B lotion. So I wanted to know about these tablets, how to apply this lotion, and how often I should shampoo my hair. Also, what water temperature should I use to rinse my hair? Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. I would suggest the following. Take Capsule Folron (Cyanocobalamin, Ferrous Fumarate, Folic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride Ip, and Zinc Sulphate) once daily after breakfast. Take Capsule Meclobic (Mecobalamin and Alpha lipoic acid) once daily after dinner. Shampoo your hair with Ketoconazole shampoo on alternate days. Apply Candid B (Beclometasone and Clotrimazole) lotion at night on the scalp if you have dandruff. Always use lukewarm water to wash your hair. Do not comb hair when it is wet. Use a wide-toothed comb with a blunt tip. Avoid using hair dryers and straighteners. Eat protein-rich food like eggs, chicken, milk, curd, and lentils. Exercise regularly. This is to keep hormones under normal balance. Androgenetic alopecia has a hormonal influence as well. I hope this helps. Thank you.
