Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I lost a tooth 20 years ago and now have severe gum disease and unsightly gaps where my other teeth have parted. Are full dentures the best option?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Regarding your query, since you have lost just one tooth and you are still young, full dentures are not required. You can go for a cleaning (scaling) first and replacement of the tooth that you lost.
You can either go for a bridge or implant, depending on your needs and what the dentist feels is appropriate. Kindly consult with a general dentist or prosthodontist for the same.
