Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My wife is diabetic. Now, she is having a frozen shoulder and cannot lift both hands for the past three months. She is also depressed due to my family issues and on anti-depressants tablets. She is now taking Clonotril 0.5, Arip MT 10, Nexito 5, Glycomet trio 2, Mixtard 30 16 units once in the morning. Her sugar level before breakfast is 150. Kindly advice.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
What is her job, and how much physical activity she has in her daily routine?
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
She is a housewife. She goes walking 30 minutes every day.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Well, that is a good thing that she is somewhat active. Treatment in such cases is easy. The treatment for frozen shoulder is exercise. The exercises are going to give long-term relief. For short term relief, she can have analgesic, physiotherapy, or intraarticular infiltration. The last one is safer than oral analgesics. She can do pendulum exercise, wall walking exercise, and shoulder stretch exercise. You can learn these exercises from the internet. And the last thing is, this condition takes time to heal. So please keep patience.
