Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

How are you doing?

  • I am sure it is the painful pricks that is making you ask this query. It is the belief of the treating doctor, that a particular type of Progesterone is more effective. So, based on the doctor's experience, the different routes of Progesterone are preferred.
  • But as per studies, the effectiveness of vaginal progesterone suppositories is the highest, with a least first pass metabolism (so less is lost into the blood) and minimal side effects. So, I would advise vaginal natural micronized Progesterone 200 mg two to three times a day.
  • Aqueous formulations is supposed to be painless, but actually, it is painful, with an occasional hematoma or painful swelling at the site.
  • Vaginal application of progesterone gel, spray, or capsules are all equally effective.

Hope I have clarified your query. Do write back. All the best.
