My son is having a fever and vomiting after taking Moxikind-CV forte dry syrup. Why?

My son is three years old today. Suddenly, he had a fever of 100.4 F in the evening. He had a fever and ear pain for one month, and a pediatrician cured it after giving Moxikind-CV forte dry syrup (Amoxycillin 400 mg/5 ml and Clavulanic Acid 57 mg/5 ml), tablet Febrinil 250 mg and Otobiotic ear drop (Beclometasone 0.025 %, Neomycin 0.5 %, and Clotrimazole 1 %). Today, we gave him Moxikind-CV forte dry syrup and Febrinil 150 mg drops (Paracetamol 150 mg) as we could not consult the doctor today. Will it be fine? He vomited after about 20 minutes of taking Moxikind-CV forte dry syrup. Please help.

Better would be to consult a doctor before giving any medication to the child, even earlier prescribed medicine. At this temperature, I suggest you give Calpol syrup and do cold water sponging of the forehead, hand, and feet to lower body temperature. Make sure to visit a local doctor before giving him any medication to treat fever.

Now the temperature is normal after giving Paracetamol. However, there was vomiting at night after taking food. He vomited after 20 minutes of taking Moxikind CG forte syrup.

I hope the temperature to remain normal the whole night. Do not give Paracetamol syrup again if there is no rise in temperature. Just try to provide some liquid if he asks in the night. Please visit the Pediatrician doctor at the earliest.
