Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I want to get rid of masturbation for my life long. But how can I do it?

Please give me some suggestions and tips.

Answered by Dr. Nidhi Jain

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Masturbation in limit is normal, and various studies worldwide have clearly shown that it does not cause any health risk hazards. It is all the myth created by sculptors of Indian medicine, and its symptoms are a part of Dhat syndrome. In medical science, it is considered as normal as drinking water. The cause of your weakness can be anemia or some chronic disease, so I suggest you go for routine blood investigations like CBC (complete blood count), LFT (liver function test), and RFT (renal function test).

To control your excess masturbation habit, you should :

1. Keep yourself busy.

2. Avoid watching porn and try to stay away from sexually erotic material.

3. Avoid remaining alone.

I hope it helps

Thank you.
