What products can be used for improving erection in a 42-year-old male?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

This is one of the most difficult questions for me, but hopefully, you can help. I am 42 years old and cannot get an erection anymore. Is there a good and trusted product I can use without seeing a doctor, as this is an embarrassing situation for me? I tried all sorts of erection pills from the internet but was not happy with them. Some work but with unpleasant side effects and most of them do not do anything. I was looking at Caverject or Muse, but I do not know if it would work, but I think I could deal much better with the known side effects. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

For erection problems, there are popular pills like Sildenafil or Tadalafil. But these drugs help only when you have a partial erection. It will help in getting a full erection once a partial erection develops. So it is not a permanent solution if you do not have an erection. The underlying cause and its specific treatment should always be a priority. Neurological damage, vascular supply problems, diabetes, hypertension, cardiac problem, prostatic disease, etc are some of the causes of erectile dysfunction. So I suggest you should get evaluated for these causes by a psychiatrist or physician. Do not feel shy about consulting a doctor. They are professionals that can really help you.

Hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.
