What is the treatment for erectile dysfunction and watery semen?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 33 year-old man and have been facing some issues while having sex: more than often, I lose an erection while having sex. I have tried Caverta 50, which does help a lot, but the effect does not last for more than three to four hours. Also, I have realized not all medicines work for me. Is there something I could take that has a much longer effect? I have been experiencing watery semen while ejaculating for the past two to three months. Is this something to worry about? Kindly advise. Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Let me answer you one by one. Caverta is the medicine to be taken on demand, and the effect will last for three to four hours, as in your case. For long-term use, you can start tablet Tadalafil 5 mg daily once a day for one month and see the effect. Consistency of semen depends upon ejaculation, so if you are ejaculating more frequently, it will be watery. Otherwise, if you abstain for some days, it will be thick.

Kind regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

How long does the effect of Tadalafil 5 mg last? Could you please name a few trusted brands I can use?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I suggest any medicines from a standard company. The effect is that you have to take medication continuously if you are sexually active. Tadalafil is made to work like that to be constantly taken.

Thanks and kind regards.
