Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
When I was 17 years old, I took one shot of Testosterone Enanthate 500 mg and Deca Durabolin. Will it affect my penis size and bone growth? I read on the internet about the side effects of the drug, like stunted growth, and decided to stop using steroids. I took tablet Adderall for three years. I read on the internet that it raises cortisol which eventually reduces testosterone. Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
The effects of testosterone lasts from 60 to 100 minutes, after which it decreases to its half. It will be completely eliminated after a day or two days. So I do not think one shot of testosterone could make any significant adverse effect on your body. But its effect depends on your body weight at the time of injection. So how much were you weighing at that time? Yes, testosterone has an impact on the total height as it causes accelerated maturation of bones. But linear growth is almost complete at 16 to 17 years of age, so I feel there is nothing to be worried. Testosterone has no effect on the penile size. The effects of Adderall include growth suppression, loss or excess libido ( sexual drive), and impotence occurs on long-term medication. But it do not effect the penile size. Provide details about your height, weight, and age?
Patient's Query
Thank you doctor for the reply,
My weight was 205 lb with a height of six feet 1 inch when I was 17 years old. Now my weight is 230 lb and height is same. My brothers are six feet two inches, mom is six feet four inches, and dad is five feet eight inches. Only I took tablet Adderall in my family. What age do hands stop growing? Am I shorter than the family members because of the drug?
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
The growth of hands stop by 16 to 18 years. Even though you are shorter than your brother, you have a normal height. Do not worry about the intake of the medications in the past. Also penis size may not be corresponding to actual height. If you are worried about an erectile issue please consult your doctor.
