Hello doctor,
My fasting sugars are 180 mg/dl, post lunch is 250 mg/dl, HbA1c is 11. I am presently on Metformin 1000 mg twice daily. Human mixtard 30/70 morning 30 units, evening 20 units. My age is 50 years, male. I have diabetes for two years. What is the best advice to keep sugars normal?

From what you mentioned, you have uncontrolled blood sugar level. This could cause a lot of complications. Fasting should not be higher than 110 and post-prandial should not be higher than 140. HbA1c should not be higher than 7.5. My advice is as follows:
