Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

If you are sure there was no break in the protected sex, then there is nothing to worry about. Pregnancy is not the only reason to miss periods. In your case body weight could be the reason. You need a minimum basic body weight to have normal hormone levels, so that the ovulation occurs on time, so that the periods occur on time. I would not advise you to go binge eating and put on weight, but you should have highly nutritious food to improve your health and stamina. Your expected weight is 143 to 149 kgs. The other possible reasons for the missed periods are

1. Any sudden increase or decrease in body weight

2. Any significant physical or mental stress, happiness, sorrow, anxiety

3. Thyroid or prolactin hormone abnormality

4. Any recent hormone usage to alter periods

Anyway, pregnancy has to be ruled out first. Have a home urine pregnancy test and once confirmed negative, have the following medication. Any of the Birth control pills or contraceptive pills like Tablet.Novelon or Ovral-G or Dear 21 or Duoluton-L or Intimacy plus 3- have one tablet twice a day for 10 days (throw away the 21st pill) no matter what the cause is ( except pregnancy) you will get periods within 7-10 days of the last pill. To further regularize body hormones have the same birth control pills from the first day of bleeding for 21 days. This will regularize body hormones. If you want you can cyclically take the same hormone pills as contraceptives for as many months or years as you want. It has no side effects and gives 100% contraceptive protection. I hope I have clarified your query, do write back if you have any more queries.

Thank you.
