Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
A female patient has had rashes on her face for the last three days. There is no complaint of fever or any kind of allergies in other parts of the body. She often complains of a burning sensation and itching in the affected areas. There is a peeling of skin that started by this morning. She is washing her face frequently and applying coconut oil. What to do?
Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have seen your query and understood your concern.
It seems you have allergic contact dermatitis or tinea faciei. This might be cosmetic-induced or other allergen-induced allergic contact dermatitis. I suggest you do not get exposed to that chemical within the next ten days otherwise there are chances of sensitization and can cause a further flare-up of the disease. Also, apply Fucibet (Fusidic acid 2% and Betamethasone 0.1%) cream on the affected areas for five days.
Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.
Thanks and regards.
