Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Until I am able to see a dentist is there a way to relieve the pain? After looking up my problem I have hyperplastic pulp. My gums are coming through the hole in my tooth.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your chief complaint suggests you have got a pulp polyp due to an infection of the carious tooth. You are advised to follow the treatment protocol for pain relief of tablet Ordent BD (Ofloxacin and Ornidazole) BD for five days and tablet Ketoroloc 10 mg SOS. Place it under the tongue it will relieve pain in minutes.

Preventive measures include,

1) Avoid biting hard foods.

2) Avoid drinking hot liquids.

3) Keep good oral hygiene.

These are symptomatic measures it will relieve pain, and rest you need to address your problem by going to an endodontist.

Still if possible send the photograph of the tooth.
