Why do I experience lightheadedness and chest discomfort despite a healthy weight gain and taking vitamin supplements?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 22-year-old female. I have chest pain that makes me dizzy; I feel like I am about to faint; I also feel like vomiting. I have numbness in my hands and feet; my body will be shaking; and my voice will sigh. I do take vitamins, but not for the chest pain. I do not know my weight, but I am not fat.

Kindly help.

  2. Chest pain can have various causes, ranging from less severe issues like muscle strain or acid reflux to more serious conditions like heart problems. Given the severity of your symptoms, it is crucial to consult with a healthcare professional or go to the nearest emergency room as soon as possible.

  3. They will be able to evaluate your symptoms, perform any necessary tests, and provide you with a proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment. It is important not to ignore or delay seeking medical attention when experiencing chest pain or other concerning symptoms.

Please reach out to a hospital immediately for a proper evaluation and guidance.

I hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.
