Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I keep getting stabbing pain in my heart and pain in my arms. At present, I have sharp pain in my right shoulder, and I also get pain like a punching feeling in my rib cage. I am concerned as I suffered from cardiac arrests four years back.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for writing, and I understand your concern.

Such pain can be associated with acidity in the abdomen, and so when there is extra production of gases in the abdomen, it leads to pinpoint pain in the chest. So I am assuming you might have that. Pain related to the heart radiates to the left side, but in your case, pain is on the right side So it can be due to acidity only. But for safety purposes, I would suggest you to do an ECG (electrocardiogram) and send me the report. I will check and let you know.

Please take Tablet Pantoprazole 40 mg once daily before breakfast for three days; hopefully, your pain will subside.

Do you have any kind of stress or anxiety? If yes, please let me know.

Thank you.
