This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am having bumps on penis and I did not have sex. They are not harming but a little bit itchy in the morning. Previously, I had itching in the inner skin of the penis and it got cured after applying a cream.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Pimples on the penis can be due molluscum contagiosum or yeast infection. I would recommend you to upload the photographs of the affected areas so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.

I hope this information will help you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I have reviewed the attached photographs (attachment removed to protect patient identity), and it seems to be lichen nitidus which is a chronic benign disease of the skin. If I were your treating doctor, then I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like Clobetasol propionate cream on the affected areas twice daily for two weeks. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her and start treatment with their consent.

I hope this information will help you.

Thanks.
