I have slight breathlessness with congestion and pain on the left side for three days. Please help.

I am a 35-year-old male. My weight is 189 pounds. I have slight breathlessness for the last three days and pain and congestion on the left side. I do not have a fever or cough. Yesterday I felt some sensation in my left eye and left side of the body. When I touched my left hand, I found decreased sensation. I found it yesterday during acupressure. My SpO2 level is 97 percent, and my heart rate is 72 bpm. I am having gas trouble, and I feel relieved when I pass the gas. Please help.

Your triglycerides and LDL (low-density lipoprotein) levels are high, and the platelet count is in the lower standard limit (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). Here are my suggestions for your problems. Overweight- Do exercise, take a Mediterranean diet and avoid fast foods. Intermittent fasting is also helpful. High triglycerides- Same measures mentioned above will also decrease your triglyceride levels. High LDL- Above measures and tablet Rosuvastatin 10 mg daily evening time. Numbness on one side- If numbness persists or weakness is felt, take a CT (computed tomography) scan of the brain and consult a neurologist. Lower normal platelets- Though platelets are within range, they are in the lower range. Do you have a fever? Repeat CBC (complete blood count) in five days, please. Do you have hypertension and diabetes? Please revert with the details. Thanks.

As your oxygen saturation level is 97 percent and antigen test is negative, you are unlikely to have a COVID-19 infection. However, if you have a fever, cough, breathlessness, and positive contact history, you should isolate yourself for ten days. If you are highly suspicious, then take ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate), CRP (c-reactive protein), LDH (lactate dehydrogenase), ferritin levels, and an X-ray of the chest.
