What causes breast bone pain that is followed by body itching?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My wife has a problem that the GP cannot seem to figure out what her problem is. Her blood results are fine, and her urine test is as well. However, she complains of two things. Her breastbone is especially hurting or aching. When that stops, she gets itching all over her body.

One of the two happens to her every day. We have tried vitamin D, iron, and various allergy medications. However, there is no improvement. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this might be or its cure? This has been ongoing for two months now.

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I am very sorry about your medical condition.

Do not worry. Bone pain seems to be due to lack of exercise, lack of proper sleep, sitting in the wrong posture, sleeping in the wrong posture, and deficiency of vitamins and minerals. The itching seems to be due to an allergy. Please ask her to do deep breathing exercises and neck, back, and shoulder exercises daily.

I suggest she take dates, beetroot, jaggery, and green leafy vegetables regularly. Also, the following tablets can be taken:

1. Tablet Allegra (Fexofanidine) 120 mg 1 per day for seven days.

2. Tablet Bandy plus (Ivermectin and Albendazole) 1 single dose only.

3. Tablet Riconia silver (micronutrients) 1 per day for six weeks.

Send me a follow-up after three days.

I hope this helps.

Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
