Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I started breast cancer treatment last month and have been experiencing severe joint pain as a result of the hormone therapy. Some mornings, the pain is so debilitating that I can barely walk. I have had to take leave from work because of the discomfort.
Although my oncologist reassured me that this side effect is normal, I find it difficult to believe that it should be this severe. I was not informed that the pain could be this intense.
I am eager to return to work and regain my normal functioning.
Please help.
Thank you.
