What could be the cause of blood and worms in the stool after bowel blockage?

4) I have seen pictures of your stools. This seems to be particularly digested food particles rather than worms.

5) Check your diet. If there is a high-fiber diet or raw vegetables, try to avoid that.

6) For confirmation, submit the stool sample for microscopic analysis (stool routine examination) next time. This would tell exactly whether these are worms or undigested food particles.

7) Stools with blood can be positive immediately after surgery or with medications you would be on, but yes, you need a colonoscopy.
