Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
As I have bone cancer, I feel facial pain and jaw pain, and my teeth have become sensitive, and I feel they are getting loose in the socket. Currently, I am not taking any medications related to bone cancer since I was recently diagnosed with bone cancer.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your question and understand your concern.
In cancers, teeth can become mobile due to bone resorption. However, this can also be due to plaque or calculus and gingival diseases, which cancer patients are more susceptible to. You need to be examined physically to start treatment. I think you should visit the dental hospital for evaluation, and you will be treated accordingly. Bisphosphonates will prevent further bone loss, but whether to use them depends on the physician's opinion.
I hope this has helped you.
Kindly revert in case of further queries.
