Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

All my reports are normal for high BP. Presently, I am taking Tezlocbeta 50 since last six months. After that, I am suffering from so many problems like acidity. Presently, I feel anxiety for the past one month. Before one month, my doctor prescribed me Esopam 10 mg. After taking one tablet, I feel bad. After this, I am suffering from anxiety. Right now, I am taking Etizolam 0.25 mg, please suggest me what do. In starting time my blood pressure was 135/95 to 140/105. My doctor prescribed me Olmetrac AM, after a few months my blood pressure came 110/70. Again he changed Tezloc beta 50, before taking Esopam 10 mg. I have a gastric problem.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your health related query. Glad all your blood reports are normal.

I understand your concern. Right now what is important is to manage your blood pressure, once the blood pressure is maintained with medication your symptoms may start to reduce gradually. You must continue the treatment as advised by your doctor. Meanwhile continue treatment for anxiety too. Apart from anxiety treatment, try some relaxation techniques like meditation, aromatherapy massage. Avoid stress or stressful situations.

Avoid too much coffee and tea and sugars. Try to go out for small mild walks. Try to drink at least nine glass of water and consume fresh fruit and whole grain in diet and take the low salt diet. Try to be around people who care for you, spending time with family and friends. Try to take a break from work if that is leading to anxiety or any situation that can be a potential cause for anxiety. Visit your doctor regularly to follow up with blood pressure management.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

How much time will it take to remove my anxiety? What can I do for dry mouth?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Sometimes Tezloc can cause dry mouth. You can have sugar free hard candy to make more saliva in the mouth or you can chew sugar free chewing gum, avoid coffee and tea, avoid smoking or tobacco. Do not use any mouthwash as it can lead to more dryness. I cannot make any comments on when the anxiety will resolve, that needs to be properly examined by a psychologist over consulting. At first, would you like to share what could be the possible reason for your anxiety? As you are the best person to describe what you feel and why do you feel this way? What are the external environment that makes you anxious? Kindly share your thoughts on that.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I am using tobacco products for the last 10 years. Presently, I am using 1 to 2 piece of tobacco product. Anxiety developed when I took Esopam 10 mg only one tablet. Can I take a herbal product like Ganoderma, Ayusante procard, while I am taking Etizolam tablet?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I will not advise any type of herbal medicine with allopathic medicine. You must try to stop tobacco slowly. Esopam is used in anxiety problem. So it can ideally lead to anxiety. You may want to discuss it with your treating doctor if you need to change Esopam.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Can this type of problem come due to high blood sugar? My mouth is dry regularly, andprevious two days my interest in food has gone low.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If you think these symptoms are due to high blood sugar, then it is best to get your random blood sugar and postprandial and HbA1c level checked. These blood tests are the best indicator of high or low blood sugar. Kindly send the report for further comments. Yes, these symptoms can be seen too in diabetic related cases. A dry mouth is not only symptoms of high blood sugar, but it can also be the cause of it.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
