Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

You may have bipolar disorder and are currently prescribed one of the most effective medications for it. However, none of these medications are known to cause weight gain. To manage your condition, consider adopting the following lifestyle recommendations:

  1. Engage in daily exercise for 30 to 45 minutes, such as taking a walk or, if possible, joining a gym or swimming. Exercise can improve your mood and aid in weight management.

  2. Practice meditation for 20 minutes each day. Find a comfortable position, focus on your normal breathing, and allow your thoughts to flow without judgment. Meditation promotes relaxation, concentration, and mood stability.

  3. Consume nutritious, home-cooked meals while avoiding junk food. Consider seeking guidance from a dietitian to facilitate weight loss.

  4. Stay adequately hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

  5. Make time for meaningful interactions with friends and family on a daily basis, even if through video calls.

  6. Cultivate creative hobbies, such as reading, journaling, painting, drawing, or learning new skills or languages.

  7. Prioritize sleep, aiming for seven to eight hours each night.

  8. Refrain from tobacco, alcohol, or substance abuse.

  9. Begin each day with positive affirmations and prayer.

  10. Work on addressing personal weaknesses.

  11. Practice self-love and self-respect.

  12. Embrace life fully and avoid wasting opportunities.

  13. Cultivate boldness and confidence in your endeavors.

  14. Express gratitude nightly.

I hope that you get your answer.

Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
