What are the differences between enhanced water and carbonated water?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

As a 31-year-old male, I have been trying to make healthier choices, and I am confused about the different types of water available in the market. There is enhanced water, carbonated water, and so many other options, and I am not sure what is the best choice for my health. Is enhanced water better? And what about carbonated water? I just want to stay hydrated and make choices that are good for my health. Can you please help me understand the differences between these types of water and guide me on what is the healthiest option?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. Water is very essential for good health and we all know this.

Healthier water means it should contain all essential minerals needed for the body. The best form of water is from RO (reverse osmosis) or through a water purification machine which we install in our home.

Also, boil the water before use if you buy from water bottles or water cans. Drinking water up to 1.06 gallons helps a lot and keeps us well hydrated.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Regards.
