Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I took MRI as I had pain in my arms for the past two months. I am a massage therapist and unable to work now. Should I be concerned about pain and problems?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
From the reports attached (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), you have injuries. The impingement is produced by osteophytes at the inferior surface of the acromioclavicular joint resulting in the localized fluid collection in the supraspinatus and bicipital groove. This condition is called biceps tendinopathy. You have swelling and hyper intensity involving the superior glenohumeral ligament. There is a full-thickness complete tear of the subscapularis tendon at the tendon footprint with fibrosis. This results in anterosuperior shoulder impingement and discomfort. It is in the healing process and requires treatment. Without any delay, consult an orthopedic surgeon.
