Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Are there any specific relaxation exercises or mindfulness techniques that I can try for anxiety disorder? I am interested in incorporating these practices into my daily routine to help reduce overall anxiety levels.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
I would suggest you do relaxation for 20 minutes daily. Sit in a place in a comfortable position and try to concentrate on your normal breathing. Do not try or force yourself to stop your thoughts, just let it be. This will relax you. It will take time for you to see its effect but this is one of the easiest and most effective relaxation techniques. You can do it any time in the day, but morning time is preferred. When you do the relaxation, you must switch off the television, mobile phones, or radio. You must not have any type of distractions and you should wear comfortable clothes while doing it.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
