Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 26 years old, and I used to take slimming pills before. It is almost a year now. But I am having many problems like breathing problems and little chest pain on the left side, and I am feeling like a different person. I do not like to talk or watch television. I do not like any disturbance. I am becoming very quiet, but I was not like this before. I think that I am not well. Something is wrong with me. Tell me what I should do.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to anxiety. Anyway, I would recommend consulting with your physician and performing some tests. Do Chest X-ray study, resting ECG (electrocardiogram) and cardiac ultrasound, complete blood count, PCR (polymerase chain reaction), and ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) for inflammation, exercise cardiac stress test. Meanwhile, I would recommend taking an antacid. If it helps against chest pain, a fibrogastroscopy for gastroesophageal reflux may be needed. If all these tests result in normal, you should consult with a psychiatrist. I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need them. Kind regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
