Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am concerned about my genital health and follow hygiene measures. I do not have any history of scabies.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is a parasitic infestation with a secondary bacterial infection. I suggest the following. Consult your specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.

1. Apply 5 percent Permethrin cream at night on day one and day seven and wash off the next morning.

2. Apply Fucibet (Fusidic Acid and Betamethasone Valerate) cream twice daily for seven days.

3. Apply Mupirocin ointment at night for 15 days.

4. Maintain proper genital hygiene.

5. Avoid scratching and rubbing of lesions.

6. Avoid chronic friction.

7. Wear loose, comfortable thin cotton inners.

8. Avoid injury.

9. Tablet Zentel (Albendazole) 400 mg once immediately (only once).

10. Tablet Teczine-M (Montelukast Sodium and Levocetirizine Hydrochloride) once at night after food for seven days.

Follow up after two weeks.

Thank you.
