Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 42-year-old male. I have been having a lot of pain while passing stools for the past one week. The pain used to last for three to four hours. Off late, have noticed a pimple-like growth near the anus. Also, I have found traces of blood and a greenish mucus on my underwear. Are these piles? What can I do to relieve the symptoms? I had an internal anal fissure four years back. I currently take Micardis for hypertension.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for attaching the picture (attachment removed to protect patient identity). I have checked it.
It is anal fissures which are due to long-standing constipation. In such a case, if it is painful, you should visit a general surgeon to check it further and see if there are any other fissures. They usually bleed when you pass a hard stool. So, first of all, I would recommend you to eat more veggies and fruits. It will make your stool normal. And please take, syrup Cremaffin (Paraffin and Milk of Magnesia) uses 2 teaspoons once a day for five days, and you will have a normal stool. Once you pass stool normally, you can stop taking it.
Please tell me,
Please answer so I can prescribe medicine accordingly.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for your response.
I have a pimple for around seven days. I pass stool regularly; however, I do experience a lot of pain. And I do not have any abdominal pain. There are few drops of blood and pus in the underwear when I remove it.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Along with that, please take, Tablet Amoxicillin 500 mg twice a day for five days. And apply Hydrocortisone cream on that pimple twice a day after cleaning. If anything else, please message me anytime.
Thank you.
