Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a rash that looks like a bite at different body parts. Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to iciniq.com.
I understand your concern. From the picture (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), it looks like your rashes are allergic. You can use OTC (over-the-counter) anti-allergic cream like Benadryl (Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 2%) or similar and assess. It would also be good to know if you have someone living with you with a similar rash? Thank you.
Patient's Query
Thank you doctor.
I will attach more photos now. No one else on the property has these issues. However, my room is very separate from everyone else’s. They are all over my body. Do you have any idea if this could be through body contact? And if it could spread to others if I have body contact? Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Thank you for attaching more pictures (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). It looks like an allergic reaction to me. I suggest oral antiallergic like tablet Benadryl (Diphenhydramine 25mg) twice a day, and Benadryl cream to be applied locally all over the rash area. We can assess after a week how it is going. I hope this helps. Thank you.
