Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am an 18-year-old acne sufferer. Comedones are around the corners of my mouth, lining my lips, on my chin, on my upper lip leading to my nose, around my nose, on my nose, the cheeks, on my forehead, in between my brows, from my brows down to my nose, and hundreds of extensive and visible "sebaceous filaments." Overall, even from a distance, my pores appear huge, and my face appears disgustingly "grainy," uneven, harsh, dull, and not smooth. The closed comedones become more noticeable and disgusting when I grin and extend my face. I have been using the acne treatment for five weeks and have seen a minor improvement in my acne. I need your professional advice on how to get my skin back to how it was when I was ten years old as soon as possible. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Based on your descriptions, you appear to have grade 1 to 2 acne with acne scars. Acne Vulgaris is a frequent skin condition in teens and adults. It includes pilosebaceous follicles or oil glands and is thus thought to affect regions with numerous oil glands, such as the face, chest, back, and upper arms. You can use face care face wash twice daily to clean your face. You must follow some dietary limitations, such as avoiding greasy, spicy meals, junk food, milk products, and non-vegetarian foods. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. After following the guidelines for four to six weeks, I suggest you start taking short-term drugs if your symptoms persist.

I hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
