Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have back acne and bumpy skin on my hands. I also have a problem of strawberry legs. What body wash should I use to get rid of this?
Thanks.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Based on the images (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) and description, you have a condition known as keratosis pilaris. It is a common condition in which small rough bumps on the skin can sometimes be associated with itching. This is not curable but can be managed effectively. I suggest you do the following:
1. Regularly use lactic acid or salicylic acid base lotions and body washes.
2. Exfoliate your skin once a week.
3. Apply a good amount of moisturizer daily.
4. Use mild soaps for bathing.
I hope this information will help you.
Thanks.
