Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern. As per the history provided, it may be acne vulgaris grade 1 with periorbital melanosis (dark circles). Black and white heads characterize acne, and redness usually appears due to multiple factors, including hormonal changes, climate changes, dietary imbalances, genetic factors, and skin products. On the other hand, dark circles appear due to genetic factors, lack of sleep, stress, frequent straining of eyes due to regular watching of mobile screens, laptop or computer screens, and frequent sun exposure. For the management of current acne and dark circles. I suggest Salicylic acid, 2 % glycolic acid foam face wash is readily available. Apply twice daily, massage gently in a circular motion for one minute, and wash off. Clinmiskin gel (Clindamycin and Nicotinamide) to be used in the morning and at night after cleaning with the face wash for two months. Apply only on acne lesions and redness. Eye creams for under eyes in the morning and at night. Apply four to five dots and dab it into the skin around the eyes. Avoid getting them into your eyes; a safe distance from the eye needs to be maintained. Take Tablet Ascorbic acid chewable 500 mg to be taken after food once daily after dinner for one month. Please do not eat or drink anything too hot one hour before and after consuming the tablet and avoid having milk while taking them. Avoid sweets, oily and fried food, milk and dairy products, and red meat. Consume more fruits and vegetables, and adequate water intake is advised. Avoid too much exposure to the sun, mobile and computer screens, and stress. Make sure to get enough sleep. You may apply ice wrapped in a towel on your under-eye area in a dabbing motion for two to three minutes on each eye which helps in relieving the stress and darkness to an extent. Acne may be on and off depending on hormonal changes, climate, and dietary changes. Therefore, external factors like diet can be managed. However, hormonal factors being internal may not be managed. Therefore, management of acne may have to be done frequently till the acne lesions lessen in appearance. For this reason, consistency is the key. I hope you find it helpful. Thank you.
